How does 3D Secure work?

Once the service is activated, you will be prompted to enter your password each time you make a purchase at participating online stores with this card. The password is a one-time password (valid for one purchase only) and is communicated via SMS sent to the mobile phone number provided by you to the Bank. After successfully entering your password, your payment will be approved.

How can I connect 3D Secure service?

To activate the service you need to connect the SMS-notification service to your Visa card. 3D secure service is provided free of charge, SMS-notification service is 45 soms per month.

Can I shop in online stores that are not members of Verified by Visa?

Yes, but your payment will not be protected by 3D Secure technology.

What should I do if I didn't receive a one-time password SMS?

If the payment has not passed, then You need to 

• make sure that:
  • You have activated the SMS-notification service and you have informed the Bank of your current phone number. For your convenience, the password entry page shows the last 4 digits of the phone number in the Bank, by which you can determine its relevance.

     o Your mobile phone is on, the account is not blocked and you are in the reception area of your mobile operator.  

     o  Enough free memory SIM-card in order to receive new SMS messages and, if necessary, delete    the old SMS.

     o  Your account is not blocked, your tariff plan involves receiving SMS-messages and roaming is       connected (if you are outside your home network).

• use the link " send password again?"on the password page to resend SMS.

If the payment has passed, it means you carry out the operation, which does not require a one-time password to confirm the purchase. This is controlled by the security settings.
